Partial Portfolio of client WP-WebDesigns WordPress website design work by Intent Design Studio:

Client: d-7 Roofing – One of the largest roofing companies in Denver, Colorado needed a comprehensive update to their primary website (with a constellation of related support satellite sites geared toward specific business-to-business markets) with professional styling, B2B emphasis and significant content and design research. A StudioPress Genesis theme was highly customized with an innovative site-wide navigation scheme using the SlideDeck WordPress plugin, which was also used for self-running galleries on selected pages. The site also incorporates custom branded video, audio voice-over editing, expandable paragraph content, extensive on-site roof photography and videography, many SEO and marketing best-practices and much more.

“Bruce did a superb job with an extensive update to our primary website, d-7Roofing.com. This required developing new ways of using new and existing web tools and adapting them to an elegant design concept that he and I worked on together. It turned out even better than I would have imagined! Bruce did videography and took hundreds of photos of our company’s roofing projects, large and small. He did massive research about our industry, freeing me from having to figure out how to approach a project I was too busy to spend much time on, working independently and only asking for feedback at just the right milestones in the project. He took a small handful of key ideas and worked them into a masterpiece of a website, with writing, graphics, photography, design and the best ‘under the hood’ web technology available. His outstanding voice-over audio narrations for the YouTube videos he put together for us complement his professional selection, retouching and photographic image-editing skills. It’s obvious that he has a passion for web work in his attention to detail and interest in using the most effective and usable tools available, optimizing the marketing effectiveness of each page and each element on it. We more than quadrupled our site traffic in just the first month the new site went live, and it continues to grow. We’ve had lots of compliments on the site, too.

Bruce also created several other integrated sites for us, including a full-featured, stand-alone website devoted to our roof repair capabilities, Repair.d-7Roofing.com. This site – almost as large as the main site -  was put together very quickly, yet with the same finesse and care. Like the main site, it uses current ‘best practice’ tools, great visuals and seasoned insight into how to present and organize large amounts of industry-specific material in a way that anyone can access and understand easily. A third site Bruce made for us is  a private intranet site that our sales force now uses for outside B2B visits with dozens of route maps to our business partners. He figured out how to use online tools to cut our travel time and expenses and employ WordPress plugins to make the site usable by mobile devices. By thinking through how these would be used, his mobile-friendly design allows our sales force to use these clickable spreadsheets and maps from partner offices, integrating feedback from each visit into our internal CRM database without having to return to our main office to capture that important data.

Client: d-7 Roofing – Repair – The screen snap above shows one of the satellite sites IDS made for d-7 Roofing emphasizing their extensive experience and expertise in roof repairs of all types. This site also includes a custom YouTube video (captioned slide show using the ‘Ken Burns effect’ with voice-over narration), as well as extensive detail and imagery about specific roof repairs problems and solutions. The site has four customized email forms to direct responses to specific people within the organization and cross-linkage to/from the main website on every page. IDS designed all the satellite sites for optimum visual and navigational integration and thematic coherence.

Additional sites for d-7 Roofing include a private intranet site with custom-designed route maps – optimized to minimize travel time and fuel cost for trips around the greater metropolitan Denver area – for routine sales force B2B partner office visits. Each of dozens of graphical route maps (grouped for each parent company for the best organization and ease of use) includes both street maps with sequentially numbered stops and a corresponding contact info spreadsheet with click-able links to each partner’s website as well as the related entry in the company’s internal CRM database for note-taking during, rather than after on-site partner visits.

The satellite sites were crafted using one of the device-friendly (width-adaptive) temples (StudioPress Genesis eleven40 theme) which optimizes usability and design flexibility for the whole screen-width range form large monitors to mobile devices such as iPhones and tablets such as iPads, responding to the existing demand for (and anticipating the continuing growth in) mobile-friendly applications and websites. Additional projects for this client included an internal (DropBox) database of hundreds of on-location roof photos and video source files made by IDS staff, organized by zip code, state-of-the-art marketing and sales strategy documentation, and much more.

Client: Miracle Promotions – This site upgrade to WordPress/StudioPress also involved a mobile-friendly design as much as possible, using the StudioPress Genesis eleven40 theme. Through extensive email/phone/Skype communications, existing photography, text, image-maps and other content were enhanced, updated and flowed into a new design for better usability, search engine performance, social networking integration (e.g. AddThis footer icons and recent tweets in the home page sidebar) and more. Personalized training and custom CSS styling allows the client to do much of the routine posting and updates herself.

CMEA-PTO Highlands Ranch, CO Redesigned

Client: Copper Mesa Elementary School’s PTO Alliance in Highlands Ranch, CO needed a site face lift that would include the school colors of green and gold. The old site did not have the capabilities for immediate updates and was not user-friendly. This site should help immensely in the communication efforts between PTO and parents.
[Note: This particular web site was a labor of love and a volunteer effort on Nancy's part because our grandchildren attend Copper Mesa Elementary and our daughter is the President of the PTO!]
